Overview
Ensemble is a conceptual online retailer that sells contemporary office furniture. Targeted at work from home professionals, Ensemble curates functional, modern, luxury products so you can work from home in style. This project is a semester-long project and the final deliverable for an upper-division web design and development course. Moodboard
Our Moodboard took inspiration from other proven furniture websites and we followed similar design patterns such as the use of action elements, and clean product layouts. Our colour theme was a mix of calm shades of earth tone greens, natural greys and white backgrounds. We chose these colours to channel a sense of calmness as the colours are pleasant to the eye but do not distract audiences from the site's products.

Sitemap
This is the sitemap our team concluded on and created to easily visualize all pages of the website and how we imagine users would navigate through them.
Interaction Elements
These are mockups of our important interaction elements that were used throughout the website, we wanted to ensure that these interactions contrasted other elements on the page and were easily identifiable and usable.
Typography
Our typography for Ensemble included a harmonization of the fonts Karma and OFL Sorts Mill Goudy. We chose these fronts as Karla is a clean, easy to read sans-serif font that fits our aesthetic and would be perfect for the majority of the text. The choice of OFL Sorts Mill Goudy was used for our brand logo due to its italic features and classic feel and when used in all lower cased, resulted in an elegant and identifiable logo.
Modular Elements
These are our modular elements that includes our grid structure, modules, and product listing. We wanted to ensure consistent designs and that all the interactions within the modular elements were easy to use and understand.
